Played his music for the homies in NY this past week and all I can say is, this kid will take off. I’m definitely feeling his new joint too, “Round of Applause” from his upcoming mixtape, ‘Lion King,’ which is due out soon. His music is very reggae-inspired and I love it…something different. It’s easy to sound like Drake, Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y…but NO ONE, NO ONE sounds like MOney Makin’ Nique, and I mean that in a good way. Smooth production, simple hook, great lyrics….can’t go wrong. Fuck wit the homie. Period.
